Book and Life Update!

Life has been busy. I must confess that  I have not been consistent in writing due to a lack of time and energy in my personal life. That being said, I will not bore you with the details of my personal life, but just having a day job that is not writing is a necessity and a bummer. My current goal is to write and write well. I do not have a publishing date/goal just yet. I want to carefully create my work and then market it strategically and that is not going to happen if I rush myself. I am aware that no one is pressuring me directly but the pressures to hustle and produce are ever present and sometimes overwhelm me even if it's just a whisper in the back of my mind. We live in an age of mass production and I am not interested in mass producing what I am working on because even if the finished product is “bad” it's still art. I want to take my time and learn more about my craft and my stories and myself. I plan to post more regularly and add some slice of life short stories to my website to give you an idea of the world that I am building. We will see if any of this actually happens but I’ve decided to stop struggling with “what I am supposed to do” and go back to creating out of love and enjoyment. I hope you will come along for the ride. Also, I love autumn and am happy to be back here.
